Not what I was hoping for
Given voice recognition technology, I think this app is a fail. It has the child say certain sounds, for example /m/. However, the child can say any sound at all, and it praises the child for getting it right. I would recommend using voice recognition software so a child only gets it correct if he pronounces it correctly. However, my nephew who has a phonological disorder loved it, and as long as I was near him and could reinforce him myself or shape his productions, it was useful.
